Located on a lush tropical island in the Dhaalu Atoll, Kandima Maldives is a haven where natural beauty meets serious style and luxury.

Kandima Maldives is an eco-friendly resort that has embraced the latest state-of-the-art technology to keep the island green and reduce its carbon footprint by decreasing waste, energy consumption and use of paper through smart technology.

 Upon arrival guests are issued RFID wristbands that allow them freedom to roam the island without a room key or a wallet, they can simply wave their wristband at a reader and order or pay for anything throughout the resort.  The Kandima App also allows guests to use their mobile phone to access stay information, including in-room food delivery and housekeeping.

 In addition, all rooms have technology that senses when a guest enters room or leaves the room, so that the lights and air conditioners will be primed at just the right level of comfort. All hot water and air-conditioning is generated from the heat of the waste generator, all water waste is recycled for toilets and gardening and all food is composted and glass recycled.

Over the water or down on the beach? You can decide between 30 picture-perfect Water Villas, built on stilts over the lagoon and six gorgeous Beach Villas dotted around the island. All tastefully designed in rustic island style, with designer furnishings, polished wooden floors, king size or twin beds, sitting area, air conditioning and free WIFI.

Water Villas have private sun decks with steps leading directly into the lagoon.

Beach Villas have their own patios and sun loungers, with direct access to the beach.

A two-bed, two bathroom Overwater Suite is perfect for families and has its own jetty directly over the house reef.

The Beach House offers a holiday home for families or small wedding parties, and has two bedrooms and two open-air bathrooms, living room, office space, kitchenette, dining area and private garden.

Guests can stay fit and active with a range of state-of-the-art facilities including: BURN Fitness Centre with private swimming pool and fitness pavilion offering classes and training programs including Aqua Fun & Fit, Pilates, Kross Fit, TRX Suspension Training, POUND® fit, boxing and both traditional yoga and aerial yoga classes. Kandima also boasts the second-longest swimming pool in the Maldives – Breeze Pool, as well as its stunning long stretch of beach that is perfect for morning runs and sunset strolls. Bicycles are also available to rent.

 At the Aquaholics Dive & Watersports Centre, an experienced team will take you scuba diving, Big Game and sunset fishing. You can also jet ski, parasail, windsurf, SUP, surf, glass kayak or cruising around the lagoon on a catamaran. Dhaalu Atoll’s scuba is perfect for beginner divers due to its wider channels and shallower drop-offs. But advanced divers can still explore greater depths and enjoy the thrill of drift diving in stronger currents.
