The Verandah Resort & Spa is a Caribbean paradise set in 30 beautiful beachfront acres, traversed by hiking trails and adjacent to Devil’s Bridge National Park with its dramatic landmark rock arch.

The Verandah Resort & Spa has three restaurants and four bars serving fresh local and international cuisine and world-class Caribbean cocktails. Seabreeze, the main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and buffet-style dinner in a dining room with an airy, outdoor feeling. For formal dining Nicole’s offers a blend of stylishly presented, Caribbean-influenced cuisine in a delightful setting, where warm red walls and dark wood trim create a cozy ambience; The Buccaneer offers family-friendly fare, including afternoon tea; For casual daytime dining, the Beach Bar & Grill is perched above the main beach and serves light lunch and refreshments in a relaxed, breezy bar with gorgeous views of the cove. Three bars include the Rasta Bar – a funky shack in a totally relaxed beach setting; the Pool Bar with poolside refreshments; the main lounge, overlooking the pool, which serves drinks and cocktails throughout the day and lively music and international entertainment keeps the fun flowing into the night.

Honeymooners will discover an abundance of facilities and activities to suit all tastes and styles of holidaymaking – from beach pursuits, in cluding water sports and sailing, to indulgent spa treatments . The Verandah also has an expansive swimming pool as its centrepiece – the largest free-form pool in Antigua, which is the resort’s focal point and an excellent spot for lounging in the sun or enjoying a cooling dip.

The Verandah Resort & Spa, with its beautiful tropical grounds, surrounded by the warm turquoise waters of the Caribbean, provides the perfect backdrop for luxury weddings and offers all-inclusive wedding package that can be personalized to meet individual requirements. The hotel’s first-rate wedding planners will ensure that your wedding ceremony is unforgettable and that your day is perfect. The basic package includes: decorated site for the wedding ceremony, set up for a maximum of 6 people; Best Man/Maid of Honor (supplied if needed); bouquet of fresh local flowers for the bride and boutonniere for the groom; single-tier wedding cake; one bottle of sparkling wine; all hotel taxes and gratuities.

The Verandah has a choice of two all-inclusive honeymoon packages to make your stay extra special: The Romance & Private package (£530 per couple) which includes private dinner on your balcony, in-room wine fruit and cheese platter, two spa massages and two matching Verandah T-Shirts; The Pampered & Indulged package (£400 per couple) includes Champagne Continental Breakfast in bed, two spa massages, a spa pack of body products, two matching Verandah T-Shirts.
