Marry in Vietnam
If you want a wedding that embraces the culture and tradition of the Far East and to treat your guests to an experience of a lifetime, then Vietnam is an excellent choice. And the best news is that it is easy to find luxurious resorts in Vietnam to host your wedding, whatever the size, including the gorgeous Mia Resort Nha Trang and Fusian Maia, a luxury spa resort in Da Nang.
Beautiful beaches span the entire length of the country, so if your heart’s desire is a barefoot beach wedding, then Vietnam can most definitely deliver. The coastline is dotted with tiny, picturesque fishing villages that are far away from the commercialism of many of the world’s better-known wedding destinations.
However, for a totally wow-factor wedding venue, the famous Ha Long Bay is world-class. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the world’s most scenic destinations, and is famous for its limestone karsts, placid green waters and stunning views as well as being featured in the Bond Movie ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’. The Life Heritage Resort in Ha Long Bay is offering wedding couples a three-hour private wedding photo cruise aboard a heritage sailing junk manned by a personal crew, with drinks and a meal on board. The exclusive sailing junk gives couples the freedom to shoot anywhere in the bay, in their own time and in absolute privacy (www.life-resorts.com).

You can either obtain this from a UK Registry Office or apply for one at the British Embassy in Hanoi or the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. Your tour operator or wedding planner will be able to advise you on the necessary documentation ahead of your wedding.
