The Legals

Before you head to Bali you must check that the paperwork and legal criteria is in place. To marry in Bali you must be over 18-years-old and must stay in Bali for at least 10 days. Once there the couple must visit the British Consulate in Denpasar (only available to British passport holders). Both parties must ideally be of the same religion
 – if one of you is Protestant and the other Catholic, you’ll need to sign an affidavit in resort that your ceremony will be conducted by a Protestant Minister
